User Education Programme – Information Literacy Skills (9 April 2021)
In addition to using the search platform provided by the library, participants were also shown how to search for materials using the Open Access platform. This is to broaden the range of searching tools available to participants. In addition, participants were exposed to basic citing, referencing and plagiarism tools available in the library, namely Turnitin. Participants can also use the Inter Library Loan service to get materials that are not available in the library's collection. All descriptions of library facilities and services are shown live through the library portal in the hope that all participants can refer to all the latest information about the library on the library portal. The session ended with questions and answers from students and lecturers. The library is very honoured for being invited by the Center for Mathematical Sciences and to be a part of the colloquium.
