On 14 January 2025, the Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Digital Hub (UMPSA) was inaugurated by Prof. Associate Dr. Mohamed Ariff Ameedeen, Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Ms. Hajah Kamariah Binti Gono, Chief Librarian and Dato' Mohd Ghazali Bin Isa, Director of HP PPS Sales Sdn Bhd, as main sponsors.

This Digital Hub, amounting to RM80,000, will operate at the Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Library, Gambang campus and it is an important step towards realizing the university's aspirations in facing the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. Among the equipment donated are 4 sets of HP Desktop Elite SFF 805 G9 with monitor, mouse, keyboard, chair set, table, cabinet, 55 inch TV, and HP Smart Tank 720 printer.

In the speech of Prof. Associate Dr. Mohamed Aiff Ameedeen, stated that this Digital Hub is a complete digital ecosystem and a catalyst for improving the quality of research and innovation, the cultivation of digital learning among campus residents and the production of competitive graduates.

According to Mr. Mohd Ghazali, the preparation of the HP AMD laboratory involves expertise in digital technology and is ready to face the challenges of the rapidly growing digital world. This effort not only reflects the strategic collaboration between industry and academia, but also expresses a commitment to technology development and innovation.

This commitment is expected to empower future generations through the application of advanced technology, in addition to encouraging innovation, increasing creativity, and driving academic excellence.
