Library Representatives are members of academic staff who act as liaison between Faculty and Library.

- Attend meetings with the Library at the appointed time .
- Advise on the information services and resources required to support learning, teaching and research in their Faculty
- Deliver to the library on the current needs and requirements of the academics on the collection and library services , so that the library can offer what is actually relevant to the needs of the Faculty / Centre level.
- Inform events / developments in the Faculty / Centre , including conferences, workshops, research, etc. in order to provide the library with the information for reference purposes
- Provide suggestions / recommendations from the faculty / center to improve any aspect overlooked by the library , but it became a need and priority of the faculty , for example : the number of books needed for a specific book titles , standards and others.
- To promote the collection and library services to faculty .
