TEMI The Robot Assistant
Temi is an assistant robot used in UMPSA Library, Pekan. It is equiped with interesting function and currently used to improve the library’s services to users. Temi is now available for assistance at Level 3, UMP Library, Pekan.
Temi function in the UMPSA Library
- Providing information related to the Library through an interactive menu
- Announcing the Library current information and activities
- Patrolling the floor and security controls
- Allowing users to search for books
- Allowing users to search for facilities
- Providing directions and sending users to searched locations
- Answering any questions about the Library verbally
- Entertaining users by allowing users to use applications such as YouTube, browser, radio, take photos and others.
- Participating during inauguration and events of the Library
