26 September 2022, Pekan, - UMP Library has been given the opportunity to conduct an information exhibition on “Rukun Negara” in conjunction with the closing of UMP Independence Month celebration programs. The exhibition has been held at the Multipurpose Hall, UMP Pekan.

This information exhibition purposes are to nurture and inculcate the 5 principals of “Rukun Negara”. The exhibition also explains the philosophy of each principal of “Rukun Negara”

1. Kepercayaan kepada Tuhan

2. Kesetiaan kepada Raja dan Negara

3. Keluhuran Perlembagaan

4. Kedaulatan Undang-undang

5. Kesopanan dan Kesusilaan

The 2022 National Day theme which is “Keluarga Malaysia Teguh Bersama” or Malaysian Family Strong Together features the current situation in Malaysia. While the exhibition explains the importance of unity among Malaysian regardless of race or religion. There are 10 related informative posters on Rukun Negara for each philosophy.

There are also 5 posters on previous national day logos exhibited during the closing program. Among the participants attended the programs are UMP staff, school children, and the local communities. The exhibition will be held continuously at level 2 UMP library. We encourage and welcome users to visit the exhibition and hope that it will tighten the spirits of unity among Malaysian.
