User Education Programme – Vitalsource Explore (5 May 2021)

On May 5, 2021, VitalSource Explore collaborated with UMP Library to host an online training via Zoom application. The session had about 30 people in attendance. VitalSource Explore is an e-textbook platform that allows users to obtain e-textbooks from a variety of publishers. It covers a wide range of topics. UMP is now using this platform to access Cengage e-textbooks.
There are few steps to follow in order to have access to this site. You must create your own VitalSource Account using your email address if you are a new user while users who already have a VitalSource account can sign in immediately.
Then, you can search for e-books that are relevant to your interests. The e-book can be borrowed for three days and click on it to access.
With VitalSource Explore (Web) or VitalSource Bookshelf, you may access e-textbooks from laptop, tablet or even smartphone (with the textbook app for smarter reading, studying and learning). For more details, please refer to the user guide.
